DESCRIPTION:

We thrive at Wayfair Planning and Inventory Management to collaborate with thousands of suppliers to provide customers with the best possible service. This requires using inventory and position strategies with suppliers to increase speed and availability, utilizing Wayfair’s fulfillment services (CastleGate) and the capacities of suppliers’ supply chains.

Wayfair’s innovative, scalable business strategy for supporting growth is centered on the availability strategy. You’ll learn how to influence the products, production, supply chain, and operations of suppliers. Financial analysis to support inventory level, excess inventory management, promotional inventory planning, and overall inventory efficiency are other areas of focus.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to collaborate with suppliers to expand Wayfair’s business, focusing on availability, inventory turnover, and forward positioning.
Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, such as Analytics, Category Management, and Forecasting, to understand sales and market trends in your space that impact forecasts.
Develop plans for replenishment orders or sell-through actions that are reflective of supplier goals. Monitor key performance indicators and drive corrective actions with suppliers and cross-functional partners.
Manage efficient inbound inventory flows and health, including forecasting, purchasing, and removing aged inventory.
Align Wayfair teams (Operations, Promotions, and Category Management) to ensure strong Ability to adapt and be at ease with change Team-first attitude and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Wayfair is fully committed to ensuring that all people, including those with disabilities, have equal access to opportunities.
