DESCRIPTION:

For business intelligence analytics, design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures. Utilizing data modeling best practices, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Oracle, and OLAP technologies, construct data structures. Using OBIEE business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer, provide online reporting and analysis against numerous sources and large, multi-dimensional datasets.

Find out what the business and functional requirements are, then turn them into solutions that are reliable, scalable, and able to be used, and that fit well into the overall data architecture.
Drive best practices among source teams and analyze the source data systems. From design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery, support, and maintenance, take part in the entire development life cycle.
Documentation and metadata for the dataset should be extensive and user-friendly. evaluate and decide on the implementations of datasets that have been designed and suggested by other data engineers.
evaluate and decide how to use new or existing software tools and products. Supervise aspiring data engineers.

Essential Capabilities

Position Necessities:

A bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a field related thereto, as well as one year of experience working in the position offered, as an
Operations Research Analyst, Database Developer, or in a related position, are required.
The employer will consider a bachelor’s degree and one year of experience to be equivalent to three years of experience in the offered position or a related field.
One year of experience is required in the following skills: using each of the following, large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics are developed and operated: ETL/ELT processes;
technologies for OLAP; modeling data; SQL; Oracle and Working from home might be possible.
