The Team’s Capabilities Include All Aspects Of Global Marketing And Brand Management (Gabm), Including Brand Management, Sourcing, Support And Outreach, Marketing Strategy, Onbrand And Amex Insights Within These Areas Of Work, The Team Is Responsible For New Initiatives/Procedures, Prsa Screening And Testing, Third-Party Risk, Iag/Management Audits, Information Security, Privacy, Financial Reporting, Physical Security And Business Continuity/Resilience. Based On Amex’s “Three Lines Of Defense” Approach To Risk Management, The Flod Best Practices Team Works With The 2nd Line Of Defense Team (Grbc, Compliance, Privacy) And Of The 3rd Line Of Defense (Internal Audit) To Implement Appropriate Risk Management. Job Requirements:
The Role Of Gabm’s Director Of Operational Excellence Will Act As The Gabm’s First Line Of Defense Against Operational Risks. The Main Functions Of The Structure Are:
Drive A Culture Of Excellence And Continuous Improvement And Ensure That Gabm Organizations Meet Management-Level Expectations.
Act As A Consultant To Gabm Leaders And Teams. Effective Prevention And Investigation Management While Supporting Startup Success
Create, Lead And Develop A Diverse Team Of Risk-Taking Employees. Experienced In Various Operational Issues Such As Database Management, Information Security, Compliance, Third Parties, Etc. Management Of Major Operational Risks: New Approvals/Assessments (Fig), Third Party Life Management, Corrective Actions/Loss Resolution And Technical Procedures For Personal Risk Assessment (Prsa)
We Work With Compliance And Gco To Ensure That Gabm’s Policies And Procedures Comply With Applicable Laws, Rules And Regulations, And That Effective Controls And Rigorous Testing Should Demonstrate Compliance.
Identify Operational Risks – Challenge Past Practices And Work With Business Partners To Improve Processes.
Analyze Data And Patterns To Identify Patterns, Themes, And Trends That Represent Emerging Operational Risks.
Effectively Communicate Learnings To Business Partners To Drive Critical Responses And Actions. Make Pragmatic Business Decisions On Complex Customer/Stakeholder Issues.
Represent The Gabm In Management Meetings, Committees And Internal/External Audits. At Least
