Analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, and the successful delivery and support of depot applications for the iSeries will all fall under the purview of the Software Developer. Preferably, the Software Developer will be able to work on a variety of platforms and environments. • RESPONSIBILITY: Develops and analyzes iSeries code to assist the Distribution business area.
•  Identifies the programs, objects, and files that must be altered in order to provide the business with enhancements or new functionality.

•  Coordinates development and quality assurance tasks with members of the development team and conducts design reviews, code reviews, and unit tests.

• A minimum of five years of practical and technical design experience is required.
• 5 years’ customizing experience with RPGLE, SQL, CL on iSeries(AS/400).
• Experience working with iSeries DB2/400, switching, and X analysis.
• Real-time large-scale business application development, maintenance, and design experience
•  Previous knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to negotiate with other teams to find a solution that works for everyone.
•  Allowing for a degree of scalability in the schedule to accommodate the requirements of the company, such as working weekends, holidays, and rotating 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
• A must are iSeries development experience and a dedication to or passion for providing high-quality solutions.
