The Data Analysts in this position are in charge of querying data sources to import and transform private and/or sensitive data that InfoSec requests, as well as producing ad hoc reports. They create ad hoc reports, measure business outputs, and visualize data in close collaboration with various InfoSec teams.

Role:

• Finds and understands patterns, trends, and correlations between various data points.
• In accordance with established data governance policy and standards, analyzes data for completeness and quality.
• Creates reports and data extraction scripts for analysis.
• Creates the data reporting environment, which includes metadata, security, and data sources.
• Establishes processes for data quality control to audit extracted lists and ensure that data governance is upheld throughout all processes.
• Determines the most efficient methods for measuring and providing data by carrying out data profiling and business analysis (logical modeling).
• Produces business insights by utilizing visualization and statistical methods.
• Provides insight into the most effective methods for analyzing and combining numerous data sources to produce datasets that are accurate and meaningful.
• identifies and enforces new opportunities for process improvement.
• Verifies and tests the data as well as the data sources.
• Integrates database and reporting solutions with data governance best practices.
• Solves a specific business or system issue by mapping and tracing data from one system to another.
• Provides support for initiatives that promote data normalization and integrity.
• Provides technical assistance with data migration, mining, and cleaning.
• Provides data stewards and custodians with support and information to guarantee the quality of changes and additions to master data.
• Creates documentation of data flow, integration, and relationships.
• Provides support for metadata element capturing and management tooling within the repository.
• Identifies and resolves issues, frequently anticipating and preventing their growth; develops options, examines them, and puts them into action.
• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience writing SQL queries, reports, and presenting findings are required.
• Data virtualization through the use of Power BI, SQL, and VBA macros.
• Strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate a significant amount of information with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to examine a situation for potential issues in the future.
• strong writing and documentation skills in technical fields.

Proficient verbal communication abilities:
