As a member of the Mumbai-based team, you will help define the Netflix brand and create the future of entertainment in an environment where collaboration between law and business thrives. The Mumbai team will have an opportunity to make India one of the main markets for Netflix. Netflix is looking for a creative talent to join Netflix’s growing Indian content initiative, focused on creating and acquiring local content in India.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the business and legal affairs team and work closely with creative partners, producers and talent to coordinate content transactions and align Netflix’s goals across the production process. . The individual will be responsible for negotiating and drafting contracts in a fast-paced environment, building and managing strong relationships with key production partners, and implementing the business and legal culture necessary to develop and create local content for Netflix’s global digital media service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving business goals, advising creative partners, collaborating with global partners, and making decisions that have both business and legal implications. The ideal candidate will welcome the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, business-oriented company and excel in communicating in a global environment.
Is required:
The successful candidate must have 6+ years of experience in writing, business negotiation and business intelligence. Experience in connection and communication with talent, production and theater, media and finance will be preferred. Bilingualism in English and Hindi is preferred.
