What Are You Doing:

The Dock Clerk Is Responsible For Truck Entry And Exit, Managing Trucks Entering And Exiting The Facility, Property Inspections, Updating Key Documents On Time, Distributing Message And Communication With Different Groups. Physical Check-In And Check-Out Of All Trucks Entering And Leaving The Yard And Wheel Trailer In Accordance With Law. Logs Include Trailer Number, Seal Number, Trailer Status (Full Or Empty), Tractor Number, Load Number, Date And Time. Check All Incoming And Outgoing Trailers In The List.

Arrival And/Or Delivery Of Goods To The Warehouse, Transport And Management Of Goods. Complete Daily Property Reviews And Coordinate Property Sales And Property Reviews.

Plan Trailer Movements Around The Yard And Notify Switchers, Dock Managers And Transportation Planners. Direct The Driver To The Appropriate Place In The Yard To Drop Off And Pick Up The Trailer.

Make Sure You Have Completed All The Required Paperwork, Documents And Information. Maintain A Clean And Safe Work Environment And Maintain A Steady Flow In The Building.

Things You Want High School Diploma Or Equivalent Service And/Or Production And Fulfillment All Shifts And Overtime Are Available As Needed Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Communicate Clearly In English (Both Verbal And Written) Ability To Use A Computer Keyboard, Computer Screen, Telephone Headset And Telephone System Regular And Reliable Attendance Is Essential To This Work. Can Lift Up To 75 Pounds Able To Stand Or Walk For Up To 10 Hours Ability To Perform All Of The Above Activities, With Or Without Assistance.
