This position is a member of the Integrated Operations Division’s B787 Engineering Team.
responsible for providing engineering support for aircraft and equipment-related maintenance and operation. In addition, this position helps keep aircraft and component standards up to date in areas of responsibility.

What you’ll be doing:

Develops customized procedures and special criteria for repairs, modifications, inspections, servicing, and other maintenance actions that are not adequately addressed in existing manuals. Keeps informed of day-to-day airline operations involving field of responsibility. Serves as mentor to other engineers. Coordinates with manufacturers and regulatory authorities, as required, and ensures that engineering dispositions are properly substantiated in accordance with applicable regulations and Company manuals.

Develops action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursues final dispositions according to assessed priorities Coordinates with other airline departments, as required, to provide for the effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions Prepares
Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections or other maintenance actions that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives Maintains knowledge of current and pending regulations, which affect areas of responsibility, and ensures that Actively engages with front-line team members and leadership equally All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Prior Job Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Field 6 years of engineering experience in a related field Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Prior Job Experience Master’s Degree in Engineering Skills, Licenses, and Certifications A&P license Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, among other programs

The ability to analyze technical data and make decisions based on that data demonstrates an aptitude, ability, and willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities. The ability to prepare and deliver presentations that convince customers to accept solutions. The ability to successfully interact with both internal and external customers.
