• Within Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Technology & Digital, you will work in the Data Products & Platform organization.

Responsibilities:

Maintain documentation for the company’s architecture diagrams, data reference architecture, data flows, data models, design, and implementation plans, which are used as technical specifications for data streams, integrations, transformations, and data warehouses. Work with teams to help them build data solutions that can be used seamlessly by understanding their needs and crafting new features and capabilities to better serve them. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and new technologies in data management and data architecture.

• Continue to improve the performance and approach to data distribution services, which include eventing, APIs, and an analytics layer. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members. Recognize the challenges of the current state, influence engineering strategy, and suggest suitable new capabilities, features, and functionality. Develop and maintain data standards and policies.
• Control the processes of data governance and ensure the safety and quality of the data.

Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of cloud data lakes and datastores (such as AWS Lake, Snowflake, and DynamoDB) as well as microservices architecture and API development and deployment Solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as entity-relationship diagrams, dimensional modeling, and data normalization
• Knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support efficient and effective data integration, warehousing, and analysis and are in line with the requirements of the business
