DESCRIPTION:

To assist Walmart Health’s recently acquired telemedicine business, MeMD, MC Medical LLC is looking to hire several part-time Telemedicine Physicians.

It will be the responsibility of the Telemedicine Physician to meet with, evaluate, and diagnose patients via telehealth and provide them with healthcare services that meet the applicable standard of care. They will be answerable for recommending patients with suitable drugs, well-being regimens, and way-of-life changes that will add to their recuperation from analyzed medical problems, forestall future medical problems, or potentially advance a better life. It is necessary to hold board certification in either family medicine, emergency medicine, or internal medicine.

Minimum Requirements:

For Virtual Primary Care providers, a minimum of two years of in-person (non-telehealth) primary care experience is required. Virtual Primary Care providers must also have 18 months of clinical experience following their residency, including the ability to prescribe the right medications, treatments, and health regimens for treating health issues in patients.

or a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from a recognized healthcare institution.
successful completion of a residency at a healthcare facility that is accredited.
Certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties, American Osteopathic Association, American Board of Urgent Care Medicine, or National Board of Physicians and Surgeons in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine.
Unrestricted State Medical Practitioner License is required for virtual primary care providers. Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification is required.
Has not opted out of Medicare participation and has never been disqualified from any state or federal health plan.
Ten hours of availability per week. The fee for each consultation ranges from $30 to $60, depending on the type of visit.
We do not currently work with doctors who live in CA, IN, KS, ME, MN, OR, PA, RI, and WI.
