DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring Controls Teams, Wells Fargo is looking for a Lead Compliance Officer in Corporate Risk. You will be responsible for:

Develop, oversee, and provide independent credible challenge to standards with subject matter expertise Provide direction to the business on developing corrective action plans and effectively managing regulatory change Report findings and make recommendations to management and appropriate committees Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Monitor the reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of issues, deficiencies, or regulatory matters regarding compliance risk management Interface with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory

  • 5 or more years of experience in compliance, or the equivalent, as demonstrated by one or more of the following: Education, training, military experience, and work experience are required qualifications.
  • Process testing experience (Review, Quality Confirmation, or Endeavor Free Testing). This is NOT testing technology (UAT, etc.).

Knowledge of process controls, including control identification, design, and or execution Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other risk management discipline certification Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership Capacity to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames Capacity to provide leadership to a virtual or remote team Capacity to train and lead others Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel Six Sigma or
