This Senior Engineer will be the most important technical resource on a fast-growing development team that creates new digital products to fulfill the promise of the future of work and the data-driven digital colleague experience at American Express.
Digital Workplace (DW) is a division of the Technology organization that provides American Express employees with tools and services.

We develop, engineer, and incubate new, useful products for colleagues and digital workplace data that have the potential to differentiate American Express as a workplace.

The most challenging development work will be assigned to the Senior Engineer, who will serve as the team’s primary technology specialist; acting as an example; educating others; and working together with leadership, teammates, and other stakeholders to build solid products that best reflect the needs of colleagues and the potential of the product.

Leads the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments. Empowers teams to automate deployments in test or production environments. Influences team members by challenging the status quo, demonstrating risk taking, and implementing creative ideas. Productivity multiplier for the team by analyzing workflow and contributing to enable the team to be more effective, productive, and demonstrating faster and stronger results.
