In our service centers, it is the responsibility of Tesla’s Associate Service Managers to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do:

  • Our Associate Service Managers are responsible for assisting with the Service Center’s day-to-day operations in order to guarantee excellent results and the achievement of goals in all areas—customers,
  • personnel, operations, and finances—quarter after quarter and month after month.

o Customer-centered: Your job is to go above and beyond what our customers expect from a service experience. Our customers are changing the world. We anticipate that you will go above and beyond for our clients. As an Associate Service Manager, you will help your team develop and implement appropriate standards and procedures to continuously improve the customer service experience. You will also coach your team to improve their approach to customer service.

o Humans: We expect you to prioritize the success of your team over your own and follow in the footsteps of our Associate Service Managers. Your group will shift focus over to you to support open correspondence, dynamic critical thinking, and a positive workplace. You must be able to motivate and coach your team to achieve daily and long-term objectives, and you should work with the Service Manager to ensure your team’s growth and development.

o Superiority in operation: As a Partner Administration Administrator, you should comprehend each part of your administration place’s presentation, and work with our Administration chiefs to build effectiveness and drive constant improvement in all parts of tasks. In order to identify and eliminate waste in operational processes, you and your team must actively facilitate exceptional team performance. In all of your actions and decisions, we expect you to promote safety, efficiency, quality, and overall excellence.

o Financial Details: To achieve specific goals in productivity, quality, output, cost, and revenue / margin where applicable, our Associate Service Managers always act in Tesla’s best interest. They are expected to understand our business, know their numbers, and ensure excellence in the center’s daily operations. You must be passionate about our mission, our staff, and our clients.

  • Technical savvy is necessary—you must acquire knowledge of all Tesla products and Service systems, procedures, and processes.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in Education: a bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience.
  •  Prior experience in the workplace: previous experience in a service-oriented industry as a leader. Car mastery isn’t needed.
  •  Experience in leadership: Experience managing a variety of roles and responsibilities and leading teams.
  • Experience in processes and operations: prior experience leading teams in the field, manufacturing, or technical repair in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment with significant customer-facing responsibilities. Experience using Lean or other methods to manage complex processes is strongly preferred.
